UI Designers Suck
It is a common fear that as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning continue to advance, many jobs will become automated and obsolete. This includes the field of design, where there is concern that AI will be able to perform the tasks of designers, ultimately leading to the loss of jobs in the industry.
However, it is important to note that while AI may be able to assist with certain design tasks, it is unlikely to completely replace human designers. Design requires creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to understand and meet the needs of clients and users. While AI may be able to generate design options or assist with technical tasks, it is unlikely to be able to fully replicate the nuance and creativity of a human designer.
Furthermore, the use of AI in design can also create new job opportunities for designers. For example, designers may be needed to oversee the implementation of AI in design processes, or to create new design tools that utilize AI.
Overall, while it is true that some design tasks may become automated with the use of AI, it is unlikely that designers will lose their jobs entirely. Instead, the integration of AI in design may lead to the evolution of the industry and the creation of new job opportunities for designers.
